Crafted with Care

It took us over 2 years and 250 design iterations to perfect every fold, material choice, and cut—resulting in a card that feels as special as the moment it celebrates. Each artwork features a sturdy ivory white paper frame with detailed cutouts that come to life when lit. The cuts are precise and clean, leaving no charcoal residue on your hands like cheaper paper would. A hidden translucent vellum layer adds depth and a soft glow, while the heavyweight paper feels substantial and pleasant to touch.

Fast Delivery Without Worries

Orders are processed, crafted, and shipped from Estonia (Northern Europe) within 1-2 business days. Your card arrives as a standard letter directly to your mailbox—no customs declaration needed. Each card is protected in a thin plastic sleeve. If you add a gift note at checkout, it will be included on a separate sheet inside the same sleeve.

Paper, Light, Magic!

While these cards look beautiful on their own, ORIGAMECO truly comes to life when backlit. While you can look into LED frames and freestanding displays, there's no need for any fancy equipment—any ambient light will do great, and even the simplest lamp will work wonders. All our photos and videos purposefully use the simplest nursery nightlight (a capybara silicone lamp, to be exact) with the card propped against it.

Make It Your Own

If you'd like to make ORIGAMECO even more personal, we designed our cards with that in mind. You can paint, color, and cut the outer paper layers—they're made from heavyweight cardstock that holds ink and paint beautifully without feathering. Markers, pencils, watercolors, and acrylics all work well. The inner vellum layer provides pleasant light diffusion, shadow play, and a sense of depth. This layer is held without glue—you can remove it, modify it, or replace it with something more interesting: colored filters, metallic paper, glow-in-the-dark paper, etc. If using your own sheets, aim for 10.5 × 14.5 cm (4.1" × 5.7").
